Peninsula Elementary Flag Football League

In cooperation with the Redwood City Parks and Recreation program, we are forming an elementary after-school flag football league for 4th and 5th graders. We will be playing by NFL Flag Rules. All games will be played at Hawes Field

All 4th and 5th-grade students from Belmont, San Carlos, Redwood City, Palo Alto and Los Altos are welcome. We encourage forming of teams by the school. Only 5 players are needed with a limit of 10.  However, you will be assigned to a team if you are an individual player. Teams must have 5 players at a minimum, 10 players max.  Girls and Boys entering the 4th or 5th grade are welcome.

 

Registration is through Redwood City

A $50 materials fee is payable to YepSF for NFL Flag Jersey, Bottle, Bag, and mouthguard.

 

Critical to the success of the program are volunteer coaches. Note that practice and game time will all be on Fridays at Hawes Field in Redwood City. Practice times will be at 4:00 pm, with games starting promptly at 5:00 pm. We will be providing training for coaches as well as a state-of-the-art app to help. In the interest of fairness, we request that practices be limited to once a week for 1 hour at Hawes field.
